I finally understand the difference in our writing abilities! My mother read to me The Little Engine That Could, Little Black Sambo and one unforgettable poem about an elephant who thought he was a telephant.

Now David, while this may be illuminating for you I am left in a quandary to understand. I am a simple woman, might you tell me what this means… I am sure it is most amusing and I hope I haven’t too much ruined the joke by asking that it be explained. Yours truly, Tracy & Tracy Phillips & Tracey S

Oh duh David! You were alluding to our different childhood literature experiences! I said she read them not that I got half what they meant! It was nearly overwhelming and I remember feeling as though I might never be able to speak the English language without embarrassment!! 🤣🤣

I’m glad you liked them. Do you follow Beth Kempton? I feel like her virtual spaces are so nurturing and gentle…sometimes my reactions to her prompts feel rough, too abrasive, yet this stuff bubbles up. Not sure how many will spill forth before I can access that calm and gentle spirit that surely must be lying around down there waiting its turn to bubble forth!

I do. She has it figured out. I don’t seem to do well with prompts, however. I don’t know how I get inspiration. It just shows up randomly, I think.
