I finally understand the difference in our writing abilities! My mother read to me The Little Engine That Could, Little Black Sambo and one unforgettable poem about an elephant who thought he was a telephant.
Now David, while this may be illuminating for you I am left in a quandary to understand. I am a simple woman, might you tell me what this means… I am sure it is most amusing and I hope I haven’t too much ruined the joke by asking that it be explained. Yours truly, Tracy & Tracy Phillips & Tracey S
I have this feeling you are insulting me and I am too thick to get it (though you have always been most kind in the past about my rhymey little things. 🧐😞
Delightfully delicious dear granny Tracy, as I sit with cappuccino in hand, dining on your tender words with visions popping in me mind and Substack Sunday in the air.
That sounds so lovely- I just returned from my first bow shoot- my daughter talked me into it. I fear I shall not be able to move come morning! 😬 Yours in prolonged pain! 💕💕🫶🏼🙏🏼✨✨
Oh no, oh yuck, I have two torn rotator cuff’s and gearing up for surgery. Take good care of yourself Tracy, pain is a force to reckon with, perhaps a piece on pain while you’re recovering, I wish I could send you over some chicken soup. I keep you and yours in my thoughts and prayers. Geraldine
Thank you! I was in chiro this morning and seemed to help. Awww, thank you- your sweet words are my chicken soup. I will be sending healing thoughts your way- let me know how you are doing. 🥰🥰🥰🙏🏼🫶🏼
Oh duh David! You were alluding to our different childhood literature experiences! I said she read them not that I got half what they meant! It was nearly overwhelming and I remember feeling as though I might never be able to speak the English language without embarrassment!! 🤣🤣
I’m glad you liked them. Do you follow Beth Kempton? I feel like her virtual spaces are so nurturing and gentle…sometimes my reactions to her prompts feel rough, too abrasive, yet this stuff bubbles up. Not sure how many will spill forth before I can access that calm and gentle spirit that surely must be lying around down there waiting its turn to bubble forth!
I absolutely love her little drawings and writings - she is a little budding creative. Thank you so much for reading and commenting - I always tell her when someone comments favorably on her creations. 🥰🥰🫶🏼🙏🏼✨

A compliment! Just noticing the difference in our bedtime stories
A little slow here but I finally got it! 🤣🤣
Will the real Sybil please stand up!
Yes, 3 is not nearly enough to contain all the fragments of my personality- Sybil with her multiples is much better!

Walk in beauty, granola granny G

Those were all really nice. More, please!

I do. She has it figured out. I don’t seem to do well with prompts, however. I don’t know how I get inspiration. It just shows up randomly, I think.
Whatever you are doing, keep doing it- I love to see your writing pop up in my email 🥰
If only I were more productive! 🙏
Truly excellent, Tracy!
Thank you so much- your words bring joy to my heart! 💕
These are wonderful, Tracy!
Thank you, Rod, I am so glad you enjoyed them! 🙏🏼
AWWWW
Your granddaughter is a great artist!
