…imagine that you have woken up in someone else’s life and write about their morning, as if it were yours, observed from inside their head, as if you were them.
Thank you so much! Your readership and comments mean so much to me. I also really enjoy your posts and notes - I find myself really liking your shares too! :)
It’s like our dreamworld is the real world, and this place we live in on earth is the dream. Have you ever read holographic universe? It’s an interesting book. Thank you for sharing these thoughts, they are so profound and I’ve thought a lot about the dream space. After my traumatic experience with my ex-husband, I didn’t dream for about 10 years. It’s only the last few years my dreams have returned. I can go back now into that beautiful world. Sometimes scary and challenging, but always a place I like to visit.
I shall have to read that book! I lost my dreams for a number of years but they’ve made their way back to me 🥰 I am fascinated by the dreams I can remember- I am glad yours have returned as well! 😊😊💕🙏🏼🫶🏼✨
Stress or trauma or a combination of mold seems to have chased mine away. I am so happy to have that world bad. I’m happy for you as well. Yes, the book is very interesting. 💖💖💖
My dear Lord Lohmann- thank you for sharing this- I had not come across your writing before. The voice read was perfectly chilling- sounds Germanic? And what is the story of this mask?? Most intriguing and I must immediately subscribe for more! ✨✨
Good Monday greetings Tracy, your writing thrills me, I love the way you think. I have been pondering the stranger in my head, since you brought her up, lovely. More soon, and have a spirited day, much love, Geraldine
Back in the 1970’s the record shops were one of my favorite hangouts on Saturday, where I would buy new releases hot off the press, like Carlos Santana and his Abraxas album. It became a Saturday ritual, but alas I no longer have my substantial vinyl library, except for fond memories of a special time in my life, listening to tunes at high volume, my ears survived.
Album covers were like a mini art gallery trip! I so remember this one especially because it was my first encounter with the idea that a god head could embody both good and what we call bad. Led me to some of the hindu mystics… thinking it was a goddess, maybe Siva who danced both destruction and creation quite handily. Wish I still had if not the vinyl, at least the covers! 🥰
This was fantastic! Aunty Vi sticks to my ribs. I continue to come back to the private trove of "priceless relics." You addressed the treasured dreamscapes that fade rather than grow in the light of day, with such wonderful presence. Cheers!!
I love your comments - so insightful and encouraging as well. My Aunty Vi appears off and on in several things. You might like the 2-parter, "The Witch that Taught me to Still Time". She is there along with Uncle Earl :) Thanks so much, Kameron - your reads and comments are so appreciated. PS I am fond of my priceless relics as well! Especially my 'volumes of forgotten lore' which I am forever trying to excavate :D :D
Thanks for reading David! If I’ve seen or read they are not in the forefront of my mind- time to reacquaint myself- I love Malkovich. It was nice to hear a comment from you and always happy when you like something Ive written. Finding this cold, dark and snow is really pulling my creativity down- in sleeping bear mode! 🥰😊
Hmm, now you’ve got me thinking about POV shifts in my dreams…I have definitely gone from 1st to 3rd person but not sure I’ve completely entered another consciousness- how interesting!
Yikes! I'd better take a "No Dreamz" pill tonight before I go to bed. Otherwise, no telling where I'll end up.
I so much appreciate your taking time to read my pieces - it means a lot to me!
You’re welcome. And a lovely addition to my Sunday along with a tasty cuppa hot tea and some Baroque music streaming.
This was written so well! ❤️

Well thank you Tracy

I hope you enjoy the Words.
I woke up and I was John Malkovich!
Is that a good or bad awakening!?
Great read, Tracy! I really enjoyed your use of the word "Abraxin."

Thank you for reading and I’ll bet whoever that stranger in your head is, she is wonderful and worthy of getting to know! 😊🥰🫶🏼✨✨

That was fun! And very clever.
Thank you do much for reading- really glad you enjoyed it! 🥰
Corky and Fats* meet John Malkovich!
( *If you read the novel "Magic" by William Goldman or saw Richard Attenborough film adaptation starring Anthony Hopkins and Ann Margaret)
I know you saw Being John Malkovich !
It's pretty rare, but I have had other people's vivid dreams.
Great story!

It just makes me tired. Falling asleep writing. Wake up and wonder if it's the weather or I'm boring myself to sleep.

I have to shift a private message. Will explain.
