Wow, okay now, wow wow wow. . .!

I read very slowly and felt very deeply, I’m spinning, not a web. More soon, I must read many times and digest because. . .?

This is why I love you Tracy and why I am your fan girl. Peace, storytelling and bubble baths, babe G

No web spinning from you my friend! I’m interested in your thoughts about it- was trying some things with it and not sure how successful it was with readers. I have gotten a few responses about the creepiness that I captured so that is good! 🤣🤣 Talk soon 🥰

My instant thought as I was just preparing a cuppa tea, Tracy leaves me hanging, like a spiders web, until I learn more about the phantom client and more spiders. I just took a pic of the spider that lives in this house that I occupy, for some reason it’s been heavy spider season since the pandemic, yuck yuck yuck!

Unsettling, could be truly disturbing, if you took it any further. The character it could could cross over into otter stories, from time to time, to raise the tension for readers familiar, and to give us an update on this characters...progress or decent. The way you set us up to feel compassion, Yes, wow, I care, and want to know going forward. You're good Tracy,

Wow,Bliss- thanks for that insightful suggestion-i often don’t know where my stories are going…I was going for truly disturbing-she was both vulnerable but arrogant and unlikeable…I suppose in the end I decided not to save her. I love the depth of your critique and you have given me some great stuff to think about- thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I love it. Spooky and gossamer subtle. Physician heal thyself - but first know thyself. Your story reminded me of a poem I wrote a few years ago. I haven't posted it. Hope you like it.

…and sat down beside her 🕷

David Angel

Trapped inside a web of sticky

fluttering so helplessly

Memories are fading fast

of days when I flew free

Protestations tire me,

serve only to awaken

the maniac who captured me

with vile arachnid trickery

Aroused from spider slumber

Scurrying down a vine

Stepped upon a sinewy sliver

Unseen to moth’s eye

Jowls clicking clacking drooling smacking

Dead eyes fixed on me

Mandible is audible

Could this truly be?

Anticipate a grand buffet

A lovely glass of Chianti

Audition for Act III -

Twilight supper in a tree

Pitter-patter eight small feet

walking down the line

Not exactly haltingly

Wish he’d move more tentatively

As if I could go anywhere,

he strikes at me with lightning speed

I beg you Spider let me be

I didn’t understand your creed

Charm, charisma

hand in glove,

Narcissist surprise

Didn’t catch it in his eyes

The dark tools of disguise

Some people are not what they seem

They lure you into their bad dream

Fall in their clutch and you will see

a silver thread envelop thee

Tantalizing little bites

to whet an evil appetite

A morsel now, main course tomorrow

Invitation ends in sorrow

As fangs launch deep inside my flesh

I hear the words the Narc knows best

"It’s really all your fault you see -

Now say something nice to me"

Well, I also love this! Villainous bastards - Sweet Charlotte be damned!! 🤣 I’ve decided to order your book -is it available on kindle? I am glad you enjoyed my little spider story and thank you for sharing your spider poem- I have distrusted them the moment I began to observe them as a child- I think it’s their MO of encasing their prey alive that gets to me and my mild case of claustrophobia. Always a pleasure to chat with you!

Faye’s haunting encounter with the spider and the ominous new patient paints a gripping portrait of personal struggle. Her battle with fear mirrors deeper, unresolved issues. A powerful reminder that our vulnerabilities often surface in the most unexpected ways. Thanks for sharing this!👍
