I'm a big fan of haiku. Enjoyed this!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I have some more fall/equinox ones coming later this month, I hope you will also enjoy. I tried to incorporate a "senryu" into one of them, and although the rhyme scheme is as a haiku, I'm not sure I quite caught its tone. I appreciate your taking time to comment - it means much to me!

My friend, do you know of Terran Tuesday? I invite you to join us and write a Terran-themed Haiku!

I have seen it-I follow most of what you and the Brothers Krynn do- great stuff! I confess I don’t really understand Terran

Tuesday-I even looked it up lol!? Earth was basically what I found-a level of vague that makes me not understand the theme or style 🤔😞 I would love to write things for it especially with your kind invitation- might you give me a brief description of how it came about, what genre or theme is its focus? Thank you so much! 🤗🥰🙏🏼

Terran Tuesday is inspired by the thoroughly hopeful growth of Humanity in the Starshatter Universe. In its core, this universe is empowered by the indomitable spirit of truth and hope. Inspiring others to create more and wholesome, cozy works, was why I and others started Terran-Tuesday. You only need read the poems I posted for that event, like this space shanty for example https://theblackknight.substack.com/p/one-more-hour , or this haiku https://theblackknight.substack.com/p/starfury

This haiku has the feel of a very wise and knowing invocation ......

Supple and subtle, all at once. Beautifully energizing and energized.

Thank you so much, Tracy.

What a kind comment- I very much appreciate your words. It felt like leaves on the ground as I wrote it- so much going on underneath it all. The autumn cathedral is what I felt as a child when lying in the back window of our station wagon (yes, they let kids do this back in the day!) and gazing up at the leaf-laden limbs that sometimes blotted out the sky with their arc and brilliance. It was spiritual yet visceral- thank you now, for helping me to relive that memory 🥰🙏🏼✨✨
