How I would love to go to Ireland some day! Here in the midwest, we are still sweltering snd could use some of that rain. Thank you for reading and Iām glad you enjoyed it! š„°āØāØšš¼
Love this, and it touched my heart from a personal perspective because fall brings a melancholical dread deep in my soul. There is so much loss that has occurred in my life this time of year. Seeing fall through the words of your poetry puts my personal bereavement in perspective. Thank you,Tracy. It is special for me to read this on this first day of autumn. ššš§”šš»
I also seem to have a large amount of life-changing events that happen this time of year, also my birthday month. A few days after my bd this year, I had to put down my long-time doggyā¦It has been difficult. Itās a season full of beauty overlaying sadness and melancholy for me. I am sorry for your loss and am grateful for your words to know my writing meant some measure of comfort to you. Thank you so much for sharing this with me. šš¼šš¼šš¼š
I have missed hearing from you! What are you working on? I enjoyed so many of your musical posts- caught most of my favorites and it id always cool to let music from your past take you back! Are you a fall lover (I admit I am not š¬
Yes I came in feet first in the middle of October and I celebrate all Autumn long, shoot, Iām old enough to celebrate every second, I donāt think or feel through my trauma lens, I healed and all that was in a past life, I transformed and morphed, giggle giggle, into the merry mystic magician in the kindness kitchen, an amazonian chocolatier! Itās silly Sunday after goof off Friday and tunes that make me sing and dance, I let my inner teen pop up and out often. G
Thank you Tracy, I worked at it and found EMDR therapy back twenty years ago, and I took my power back and do not look upon those times, itās like magic.
Tracy, thank you for thinking about me! Iām playing catch up this morning! šāāļø My mostly retired days have now become pretty busy @Tracy, which is good news! Yesterday I just completed my first Magic video in my new studio. Iām growing my Substack, and have added two new paid features. The Magic videos are one of them. Iāve been working hard to get it all done!
I hate that feelingā¦ then I sort of turn into a cranky bear that wants to hibernate til spring! š¤£š¤£ Thanks so much, Joan, for taking time to read and I enjoyed seeing your comment. šš«¶š¼āØāØ

Beautiful!
This is beautiful. What precision and imagery. Though I must stick up for the fall. He always seemed a gentleman to me...even if he brooded.
I love it! Thank you for your kind words.
The tree has fallen,
Decades lie on the ground.
This is not the end.
