Birthing To come out of or through something An opening, a widening of an aperture. An allowing, a granting of passage. To flower as a blossom might And triumph over pain and suffering - To experience victory as a warrior. Emergence is a raw and physical transition From one state to another, From something outgrown, Over-worn and unsuitable for further containment. Out requires an in-to something new and different. To emerge is to accept the challenge of change. A prayer or asking: Might I approach each day with faith in good things to come And see life unfolding as a beautiful mystery where I am the answer to The question of, “Who done it?” Where I am the author, narrator, actor and director. May my spirit be imbued with belief In the innate value and beauty of not only my own soul, But in each one I encounter. May I be a source of encouragement and open myself to new possibilities. May I become the light, connection, love and respect the Universe craves.
This is not intended to be a negation of the divine or a Nietzschean sort of man over God; yet it is likely not IAW Christian doctrine as I was taught to understand it. I believe deeply in the divine and in the goodness and potential for the impact of God in our lives. The most meaningful impact for me is found through connection with that goodness and through the choice to spread hope and light; I believe it is the Divine that lives within each of us that allows us to live and love this way.
My prayer of inspiration that brings me strength and joy:
“In me, with me, around and through, You are of me and I am of You.”
Truly inspirational. Thank you for this gift.
